The foods we eat can either nurture or starve our brains and so have a huge impact on our mental health.

We can’t control what happens to us. But we can control the way we think about those things. And I know that depression and anxiety mess with your ability to think clearly and gain control over your emotions. But mindfulness strategies will empower you to recognize and overcome the negative thinking patterns that leave you feeling helpless and emotionally unstable. It begins with learning how to live in the present. Because focusing on the past and future keeps our hearts and minds racing and only aggravates depression and anxiety.
