We start off by finding hope.

And this despair is only exacerbated when you’ve tried medications and therapy, but you still don’t feel like yourself. So, you’re wondering why integrative nutritional therapy will be any different? Let me start off by saying that The Mind Well Program can help you heal because integrative nutritional therapy addresses the root causes of depression and anxiety.

We work to identify the root cause.

Medications used to treat depression and anxiety can alleviate symptoms associated with these mental health conditions. But they don’t address the underlying issues that led to the development of the disease.

And therapy works in different ways. It may help a person better understand their emotions and adopt coping strategies. And it can be a beautiful and undeniably helpful thing for some people. But it requires finding a therapist that’s a good fit, and it takes time.

Neither of these traditional forms of treatment truly considers the factors that caused the chemical imbalance that led to the development of depression and anxiety.

Nutritional therapy doesn’t just mask the symptoms of depression and anxiety. It addresses the root causes of these mental health conditions. It helps identify nutritional deficiencies, dietary choices, and lifestyle habits that can mess with your mental health.

We break down barriers.

When weighed down with depression or anxiety, you struggle to take any steps at all, let alone those toward positive change. Inertia is a common symptom of these mental health conditions. But a mindfulness practice and integrative wellness coaching can help you move forward.

Mindfulness teaches acceptance and self-compassion that can strengthen your resolve to engage in self-care. And coaching encourages you to explore the mindset and emotions that may be holding you back from making positive change.  

What does the process look like?

It all starts with a chat. We talk so that I can get to know you and evaluate your needs. I may recommend lab work for a clearer picture of everything that’s going on from a biochemical perspective. But it’s always optional. I then guide you through The Mind Well Program that includes education and recommendations on dietary and lifestyle changes as well as mindfulness training and wellness coaching that will help you alleviate symptoms associated with depression and anxiety and start to heal.
